Sculptures:

He is an extraordinarily prolific artist, whose work reflects his great Anglo-American cultural background. His creations present a broad spectrum of the complexities of reality, where innocence, cheekiness or controversy are revealed with rawness, sense of humor and naturalness.

“They say that William Burroughs began writing because of a terrible event, the accidental murder of his wife. It may seem in bad taste that tragedies like that have to happen for the world to give someone a chance to rebuild his life through art. If I had not suffered from mental illness, perhaps I would have had a totally different life. Maybe I would never have picked up a paintbrush. But no, there is nothing positive about an illness, mental or otherwise, make no mistake. This idea of the mad genius artist romanticizes something that does not correspond at all with reality. A reality that not a few of us face and that we struggle day by day to overcome. As the saying goes: “where one door closes, another one opens”. And here art plays a fundamental role. Because while there is a fine line between acting crazy, bold or brave, I think we all agree that art, so seemingly unnecessary, is something that unites us as a species”.
