Jose Manuel López

“I’ve been drawing since I was very young and I still have a lot of street left to continue creating. I’ve been drawing in notebooks for several years, it’s my daily life, as if it were a diary. In it I talk about the present, about things that happen to me and that worry me”.

Through his diary, composed of drawings and narratives, José Manuel investigates his reality in a direct, ironic and crude way. Fears, persecutions, family, friends, passions… The artist represents some of these images and situations, and explores them through painting.
