Miguel Ángel Ruiz

Miguel builds his drawings meticulously with threads of different colors. His main tools are scissors and awl, filling in the gaps and concentrating on every little detail.

“With this technique you can do all kinds of drawings. It’s a very expensive and time-consuming job but I like to do it because it distracts me, helps me focus and sometimes I make money.”

For the artist it is especially important to go to the workshop every week and share the creative space with other artists and friends.

“Every Wednesday I come to Living Museum with my friend José Manuel and for us it is very important to come alone.”
