Art, Artificial Intelligence, Diversity and Mental Health

In 2023, Living Museum Madrid together with the Social Action and Volunteering Area of the Telefónica Foundation participated in the program Solidarity Challenges: give skills to the world.

Based on new technologies as a creative resource, the project Artificial Intelligence, Art, Diversity and Mental Health was carried out in collaboration with the Fundación Raíles and the Faculty of Education of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).

The project consisted of six experimental workshops, where twenty-one creators from the Fundación Raíles explored artificial intelligence as a creative and supportive tool in their artistic processes. The workshops were held from April to June 2023 at the Faculty of Education (UCM), with the support of a group of volunteers from the Purchasing Area of Telefónica Fundation .

The project ended with the official presentation of Living Museum Madrid at the Fundación Telefónica Auditorium in Gran Vía and the publication of a white paper that collects the results of the project and future avenues for implementation and research.

The economic donation received at the end of the project allowed the financing of the first Living Museum Madrid Artistic Residencies.

During the initiative, we had the audiovisual recording of the company The Market Room (TMR), the photographic support of Rocío Moneo Carmona and Elena Nieto, and the collaboration of Marta Lage de la Rosa, PhD in Fine Arts and professor at UCM, and Paula Álvarez, graphic designer at the University of Buenos Aires, teacher and illustrator.
